Yesterday, pubs, cafes and restaurants in Wales are able to reopen to customers outdoors, and we were amongst them after booking lunch at our favourite restaurant Bistrot Pierre. Although the sun was shining, it was chilly with a strong biting wind blowing off the river. Despite asking to be moved to a more sheltered table, they were unable to move us as fully booked, although there were a few tables free.
Anyway, we had a nice meal and were eventually moved to a sunnier table, but still in the wind. Hospitality is set to reopen indoors from 17 May, along with increased limits on those who can attend organised events, but this depends on case rates and the make-up of the Welsh government after the election on 6 May. Hopefully the next time we dine there, it will be indoors (see pic below). click full source.
